The Goodwood Estate is renowned for its world-class events including The Festival of Speed, Glorious Goodwood and Goodwood Revival. Due to the estate’s and the Duke of Richmond’s adoration for dogs, it only seemed right to run its own dog festival.

If you’re travelling by train, the nearest train station is Chichester. A taxi ride from the station is approximately 15 minutes. It’s best to pre-book your taxi as it’s likely to get very busy over the Goodwoof weekend. On the other hand, you can also get the 900 bus which frequently leaves from Chichester Train Station.

2023 – Year of the Poodle

Every year Goodwoof celebrates a specific breed and this year will be the year of the poodle!

Poodles come in all shapes, sizes and colours – from standard to toy and black, apricot, brown or white. In 2023, there will be a special poodle parade to celebrate this stunning breed. The Duke of Richmond is even very fond of poodles himself!

The poodle parade will start on Saturday morning, make sure to join in with your very own poodle or come along to spectate.

Random fact about poodles: Poodles aren’t actually from France, they’re originally from Germany.
